A lack of notebooks, textbooks, pens, and bags often makes learning difficult and affects confidence in the classroom.
Our Books & Notebook distribution initiative focuses on supporting these children by providing essential learning materials such as notebooks, textbooks, stationery, and school bags.
These resources help students attend school prepared, complete homework, and participate actively in class.
Wellness & Welfare
Health & Hope: Medical Camp and Ration Support Drive
The camp offered essential health check-ups, including blood tests, eye examinations, and general health consultations, helping community members identify health concerns early and receive proper guidance.
In addition to healthcare services, ration kits were distributed to more than 40 needy single women and their children, providing much-needed support to families facing financial difficulties.
This initiative aimed not only to improve health but also to bring relief and dignity to those in need.

Ration Distribution — 400+ Families Supported
Year-round ration support for widows, single mothers and people with disabilities.
Through 2022 our volunteers reached more than 400 families with monthly ration kits — staples like rice, dal, atta, oil, spices and hygiene essentials that quietly keep a household standing.
Priority was given to widows, single mothers and members of the community living with disabilities, ensuring that the most vulnerable did not have to choose between a meal and a medicine.

Free Dental Check-up for School Children
Preventive dental screening for students of grades 1 to 4.
We organised a free dental check-up camp at Blue Bell School, Kondhwa for children of grades 1 to 4.
Each child received a guided screening, oral-hygiene counselling and a friendly note for parents — turning a simple check-up into an early lesson on lifelong dental care.

Free Medical Camp
General health screening with doctors from DY Patil and Kulsum Munir Foundation.
Supported by doctors from DY Patil and the Kulsum Munir Foundation, our free medical camp offered general consultation, BP and sugar checks and basic medicines.
Families that often skip a clinic visit because of cost or distance walked in, got examined and walked out with a plan — and many with their first prescription in years.

Monsoon-ready kits so no child misses school because of the rain.
Soaked uniforms and damaged books are a quiet reason children stop attending class in the monsoon. We distributed umbrellas and sturdy school bags to children in private schools serving slum communities.
A small, practical gift — and one that keeps attendance steady through the wettest months of the year.

Open conversations on menstrual health, nutrition and personal safety.
An interactive session for women on health, hygiene and personal safety — designed to break the silence around topics that are too often left out of everyday conversation.
Resource handouts, Q&A with practitioners and small-group discussions made it easier for participants to take what they learned back to their families.

Child Safety, Labour Awareness & Financial Literacy
International Women’s Day programme — felicitation, awareness and E-Shram cards.
On International Women’s Day we saluted the women who hold our communities together — lawyers, doctors, teachers, tailors, beauticians and the sweepers whose work the city depends on.
The programme combined awareness on child safety and labour laws with hands-on help: financial-literacy basics and distribution of E-Shram cards so informal workers could access government welfare.

75+ Students Supported with Admissions & Fees
School and college admissions made possible for more than 75 children.
Between January and August 2022 we helped more than 75 students secure admission — covering forms, documentation, fees and counselling with parents.
Many of these children are first-generation learners. A single admission solved often changes the trajectory of an entire family.

During the pandemic we visited children in Budhwar Peth with care kits — snacks, drawing books, crayons and colours.
For children growing up in one of the city’s most overlooked neighbourhoods, the visit was less about the parcel and more about being seen.

Labour Card, E-Shram Card & Government Schemes
Hands-on help to access welfare schemes and worker IDs.
A facilitation drive helping informal workers apply for labour cards, E-Shram cards and other government welfare schemes.
Volunteers walked people through the paperwork on the spot — turning entitlements that exist on paper into benefits that actually reach a family.

Through the toughest months of the pandemic, our team delivered monthly ration kits to more than 250 families.
Widows, single mothers, members of the community with disabilities and families that had lost a breadwinner to Covid were on our priority list every single month.

Drawing Competition — Sant Gadge Maharaj School
A colourful afternoon of creativity, supported by Lion’s Club Sarasbaugh.
In partnership with Lion’s Club Sarasbaugh, we organised a drawing competition for the children of Sant Gadge Maharaj English Medium School.
Themes around community, family and dreams gave the children a stage — and a quiet reminder that their imagination matters.

Career Guidance for Girls — Design & Beauty
Free guidance on fashion designing, interior designing and a hair & beauty diploma.
Across schools in Khakee, Wagholi, Kondhwa and Sayyed Nagar, we ran free career-guidance sessions for girls on fashion designing, interior designing and a diploma in hair & beauty.
Organised by Golden Jubilee in collaboration with Future Foundation, the sessions opened up creative livelihoods that weren’t on the standard career list at home.

Technical Classes for Boys & Girls
Foundational technical training open to both boys and girls.
We started technical classes open to both boys and girls — a small batch, a hands-on curriculum, and a deliberate focus on skills that translate into paid work.
The class continues to feed students into apprenticeships and short certifications.
